The work belongs to Fitoloğlu's 'birds and figure' series, but this version is close to full abstraction — the bird shape is recognisable but its boundaries blurred. The 'fine balance between control and freedom' the artist speaks of in his manifesto is brought here to its furthest point: form and current, recognised and sensed within the same brushstroke.
