In a narrow, vertical format — almost like a stone sculpture column — a figure in a white coat and a crown-like headpiece. Under his feet a bird, to his right a dove, beneath that another child's face. Is the figure a jester, a king, or only a child's dream — unclear. Fitoloğlu constructs this vertical-axis composition as if it were a totem structure — the eye looking upward reads the small creatures above the figure like verses set down. A formula for the manifesto's phrase 'painting is a state of feeling': identities set down in layers.
