Signed A.Fitol 25, this work is a new group composition from the artist's 2025 period. Five figures on a turquoise-blue interior ground: two dark-coated, hatted adults in the upper row; a central figure in a yellow dress before them; another standing figure with a red-striped shirt on the right; and a small child in a pink-red cap in the foreground. The background is built with the artist's characteristic colour blocks — yellow, red and black square fragments — almost a Mondrian-like scene; the tension between the free, vivid contours of the figures and the geometric decisiveness of the ground is the painting's principal engine. Each figure is turned inward; they look neither at each other nor at the viewer. This is a mature moment in Fitoloğlu's 40-year practice of group portraiture: a language able to say togetherness and solitude simultaneously.
