Signed Fitol 24. Three figures between two vertical strips of violet and orange — a group standing head to head; two upright, one behind. The black-dark skin of the foremost figure, the pink skin of the green-shirted figure beside, the black hat of the figure behind. Lower right, a small animal (dog?). The work stages a relationship of generation or solidarity: the figures do not touch one another but share the same air space. Small square patterns along the edge strips — almost a hand-woven Aegean kilim feel. A place where the artist's folk-art references meet contemporary figure painting.
