The work shows one of Fitoloğlu's most characteristic figural schemas: two female figures facing each other, with a third element — here an arm reaching upward — emerging as rhythmic movement between them. The figure on the left carries crimson and green accords across the chest, the one on the right a skin that turns to yellow-green tones. The turquoise blue behind gives both an interior feeling and a sense of sea; the ambiguity is deliberate. The two faces look toward each other but the eyes do not meet — each figure is in her own inner world. The brushwork is by turns thick and gesture-heavy, and transparent and breathing. This is not a scene but a situation — a threshold where two bodies simultaneously experience solitude and togetherness.
